‘Sisu’ Trailer, Release Date, Cast, And Similar Movies To Watch

“Sisu” is a movie that hails from Finland and is directed by Jalmari Helander. In the trailer, we see a man mining gold in Finland, and on his way back, he stumbles upon some Nazis. They try to steal the gold from him but quickly find out that he’s no ordinary gold miner. The movie is about Aatami Korpi, who is a former Finnish commander. He searched for gold during the Lapland War, which was a war fought between Finland and Nazi Germany in World War 2. The movie promises to entertain you with breathtaking action and an amazing storyline.


Release Date And Cast

It is a limited release and will be shown in selected theaters. However, the release date of ‘Sisu’ is 28th April 2023. The movie was released last year at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022. Also, it was released in Finland on 27th January 2023. At the 55th Sitges Film Festival, the movie won numerous awards, including Best Film, Best Lead Actor, Best Cinematography, and Best Music, and you would be surprised to know that the movie has a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The cast includes Jorma Tommila as Aatami Korpi, who is the protagonist in the movie. He is also known for his role in “Big Game.” Along with him, the movie will star Aksel Hennie as SS Obersturmführer Bruno Helldorf. He is known for his role in “Hercules.” Further, we have Jack Doolan as Wolf; he began his career as a child actor and is known for his role in “The Facility.” The movie also stars Mimosa Williams as Aino. She is known for her role in “Headfirst.”

As they fight their way through Nazi Germany, the crew of the tank, named “Fury,” faces increasingly difficult challenges and brutal combat situations. Schindler’s List: The film takes place during World War II in Poland, where Schindler (played by Liam Neeson) arrives as a businessman looking to profit from the war effort. He employs Jewish workers in his factory, initially for economic reasons, but gradually develops empathy for their plight as he witnesses the brutality and inhumanity of the Nazi regime.

Schindler gradually becomes more involved in helping the Jewish workers and begins to bribe officials and use his influence to protect them from being sent to concentration camps. He even spends his entire fortune buying the freedom of his Jewish workers and their families, keeping them safe until the end of the war.

Jojo Rabbit: Even though it is a satirical movie, it is worth watching. The movie is set during World War II. It tells the story of a young boy named Jojo Betzler (played by Roman Griffin Davis), a member of the Hitler Youth in Nazi Germany who idolizes Adolf Hitler and dreams of becoming a Nazi soldier. However, his world is turned upside down when he discovers that his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a Jewish girl in their attic. Jojo must confront his beliefs and grapple with the realization that everything he has been taught may be wrong. Throughout the film, Jojo’s imaginary friend, a goofy and absurd version of Adolf Hitler, appears to him in various situations, offering humorous commentary on the events unfolding around Jojo.
