Cast

After putting down the mantle of the world’s most selfless soldier, Captain America, Chris Evans is due to make his appearance on the silver screen with the upcoming Dexter Fletcher flick dubbed “Ghosted.” Chris Evans portrays the role of Cole Riggan in tandem with “Knives Out” alum Ana De Armas, who’ll be appearing as a CIA agent, and Cole’s paramour, Sadie. It’s amazing how many different roles Ana de Armas can portray. Because of this, an action film that needs a dynamic protagonist, like this one, would benefit from having her as the protagonist. Talented and stunning, Ana de Armas is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Considering this, she’d be a great pick for an action film that requires a female lead who’s both formidable and charismatic.

There’s no doubt that both the actors are very skilled and magnetic entertainers who can give their characters nuance and credibility. In addition, the actors share a believable connection on the film. Furthermore, the duo has shown their versatility as performers by appearing in movies spanning from action-adventure to chick flicks to serious murder mysteries. Its adaptability increases the likelihood that the movie will be enjoyed by a broad variety of people and improves the film’s potential for making its target audience feel like they’re on cloud nine.

The movie also features the likes of Adrien Brody as Leveque, Mike Moh as Wagner, Tim Blake Nelson as Borislov, Anna Deavere Smith as Claudia, Lizzie Broadway as Mattie, and Mustafa Shakir as Monte Jackson. The movie is helmed by Dexter Fletcher, who is known for movies like “Doom,” “The Three Musketeers,” “Kick-Ass,” “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.” Chris Mckenna, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick serve as the writers and screenwriters of the upcoming movie.

Trailer: What’s The Movie About?

The trailer kicks off with Cole Riggan (played by Chris Evans) clicking a connection with Sadie (played by Ana de Armas) and asking her if she would like to go on a date with him. Sadie has never been approached like this and feels an instant connection. She asks him to get in his car so they can carry their date on the way to a coffee shop. Cole is really attracted to Sadie, and just a couple of dates have made him believe that she might be the one he’s going to spend the rest of his life with. On the other hand, Sadie is also a very attractive and successful woman, richly cherished by the people around her. Unfortunately, she ghosted Cole just a couple of days before she was due to meet his parents. Cole desperately tries to reach Sadie, calling and texting her on her cellphone, but to no avail. Cole attempts to convince himself that she may not have noticed his text message as she is often away from home for business. Thus, on his mother’s suggestion, he decides to book a flight to London to learn why the love of his life has been ignoring him.

However, things don’t exactly go as planned because as soon as Cole arrives in London, he is abducted by a mysterious group. Cole desperately tries to convince them that he isn’t the “tax man” they’re looking for, as he is just a farmer. Lucky for Cole, a masked stranger comes to the rescue and effortlessly shoots her way to Cole. The masked stranger is later revealed to be Sadie, who in reality is a CIA operative. Not to mention the “Tax Man” the criminal has confused Cole for is none other than his girlfriend. Now both Sadie and Cole are being hunted and tracked by dangerous criminals who have no moral ground and will do anything to meet their agendas.
