‘Xiaomi 13 Pro’ Specifications And Detailed Review: Is It Worth Your Money?

In the present-day scenario, Xiaomi has become one of the rising stars in the world of smartphones. It almost shook the world with its 12S Ultra, which could easily compete with premium brand smartphones from OnePlus, Samsung, or Apple. Motorola has already announced that the X40 Pro would arrive in December, but Xiaomi is also not far behind and has planned to launch its 13 series in December 2022. The 13 series will have two premium phones, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, and the Pro model will be the flagship one. Read the blog to find out the specifications in detail and what the 13-series has to offer.

Xiaomi 13 Pro Specifications

The Xiaomi 13 Pro retains many similar characteristics of the 12 series but with massive improvements.

The device will weigh 229 g, which is on the heavier side, but it has a sleek design that will provide a comfortable grip. The front will get the Gorilla Glass Victus, and the device comes with IP68 protection.

Display: This smartphone comes with a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The bezel-less display of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to have 1 billion colors and provide a brightness of up to 1000 nits (HBM) and 1500 nits (peak). With a high pixel density of around 521 PPI, the resolution of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is 1440 x 3200 pixels. The aspect ratio of the device is 20:9, and it has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has an under-display fingerprint scanner and virtual proximity sensor.

Technical: The device will come fresh out of the box with Android 13 and MIUI 14. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will run on the most powerful chipset available in the market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This chipset will surely enhance the performance of the device in possibly every field and will be supported by an Octa-Core CPU and an Adreno 740 GPU. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will have two RAM variants (8 GB and 12 GB), and the internal storage will come in 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The device is devoid of a memory card slot, and the 128 GB variant will have UFS 3.1, while the 256 GB and 512 GB variants will have UFS 4.0. Where the Xiaomi 12 S had an AnTuTu benchmark of 1089755, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is showing its score to be 1195633 points.

Rear Camera: Leica Camera is a renowned company known for creating high-end cameras, optical lenses, microscopes, and photographic lenses. Xiaomi’s collaboration with Leica began in the 12 series and will continue in the 13 series.
