Why Does Pran Make Different Types Of Lady Of The Night Flower Tea?
Lady Of The Night Flower is a poisonous plant, and not everyone can make tea from such a plant. You need to understand the dosage properly in order to make tea from it; otherwise, it can cause you grave harm. Pran keeps on making different types of tea from the Lady of the Night Flower plant because his client, Malee Rattikarn, likes to have it. Since the first time Pran meets Malee, he is swept away by her beauty and cannot stop thinking about her. Astonishingly, Pran has a mysterious connection with Malee. As kids, they met one night when Pran was trying to drown a rat in a canal because his father gave him the task. While doing so, he got bitten by the poor animal, and it was Malee who nursed his wound that night. However, the little girl was not Malee at that time; instead, she was Ratree, named after the Lady of the Night Flower. Their relationship did not end that night, since, later on, Pran helped Ratree flee from the clutches of her abusive stepdad by pushing him and letting him drown in the same canal. After the death of Ratree’s stepdad, she started to live with her mother’s boss, who renamed her Malee Rattikarn. When Malee texts Pran regarding the tea that is extracted from the Lady of the Night Flower, he understands that she is none other than Ratree from his childhood. Since both of them have feelings for each other, Pran tries to persuade Malee to live with him in his apartment, but she considers herself tarnished. Malee works as a mistress for Kim, a rich Korean guy, and hence she is skeptical about her relationship with Pran. However, she understands how much Pran has fallen for her, and she decides to move in with him after cutting off her ties with Kim.
Why Is Pran Getting Wary Of Asanai?
Asanai has been with Pran since childhood. They have been together since the time Pran’s father tortured him. Asanai knows about Pran’s emotional conflicts and how violent he can get sometimes. However, Asanai is not a good friend, despite appearances. This is because Asanai is jealous of Pran’s relationship with Malee. He is physically attracted to her, and he wants her to be his partner instead of Pran’s. Asanai blatantly tells Pran that Malee is his own type and that he should stay away from her. This single sentence makes Pran wary of his friend because he understands the latter’s intentions towards his girlfriend.
Why Does Malee Suspect That Pran Killed Dum, The Cat?
Since childhood, Pran did not have freedom within his own house. He was controlled by his father to the point where he was not even allowed to say anything of his own will. In fact, his mother had the same fate. She stayed silent most of the time, and it felt as if she did not exist. If Pran went out of line, he was beaten by his father. His home was not his safe place. This is the reason why Pran has emotional conflicts, and he is violent in nature. When he feels angry, he loses control; however, since Malee has come into his life, he is trying his best to control himself. Pran was lonely and had nobody beside him to support him except his jealous friend, which is why he wants Malee to be by his side at all times. Moreover, Asanai makes Pran feel insecure about his relationship with Malee by negatively influencing him about her. He tells him that Malee is not a good woman, and that she is just using Pran to get away from Kim. If she could leave Kim for Pran, she is also capable of leaving Pran for somebody better. Asanai makes Pran doubt his love for Malee and his trust in her. Since Pran grew up in an emotionally abusive household, he has no confidence in his feelings and somehow believes whatever his dear friend says about his partner. Malee suspects that Pran killed Dum, the cat she loves wholeheartedly, because he thinks that the cat will take her away from him. Pran does not want Malee to leave him at any cost, and he could go to any lengths to keep her in his life. He does not want anyone to interfere in their relationship and fracture their love for each other.
How Do Asanai And Namsai Play With Pran And Malee?
Namsai is introduced by Asanai as his partner, but later it is revealed that he was just using Namsai to sway Pran’s feelings for Malee. Namsai works as Pran’s healing therapist. She tries to calm his anxiety and violent emotions, but in the process, she tries to prove herself as the better partner for him. Asanai uses Pran’s weak points to convince Malee that he is not good for her. He plays a dirty game by trying to make Pran believe that Namsai is the better choice, and vice versa for Malee. Malee figures out that Asanai is playing tricks on Pran, but she comforts Pran, promising that she would never leave him. During Pran’s healing sessions, he confesses how much he loves Malee; Namsai listens to him, but her demeanor reflects that she fakes her advice. Both Asanai and Namsai try to play with Pran and Malee’s feelings by pitting them against each other.
How Does Malee Die?
Malee dies all of a sudden by falling off the parapet of their balcony after she drinks their special Pran-Ratree tea. Namsai reveals that she died the same way as Kim; that means she suffered a cardiac arrest. Asanai is the main culprit because he hired Kim’s maid to mix the grounded seeds of the Lady of the Night Flower into their tea. These seeds are extremely poisonous because even a small dose can kill people, and that is what happened to Malee and Kim. Well, Asanai murdered Kim because he did not want him in Malee’s life. He killed Malee herself because she refused to submit to his toxic advances. Malee stood her ground about her feelings for Pran, and Asanai, driven by an inflated ego, refused to accept the rejection. If he cannot have Malee to himself, he cannot let her become someone else’s partner.
What Happens To Malee And Pran In The End?
After Malee’s death, she remains in the building . She turns into a ghost and keeps on haunting everybody but does not cause them any harm. Pran does not let go of Malee’s ghost, and he keeps on believing that she is still with him. Towards the end, the other residents of the apartment call in a Shaman to exorcise Malee’s ghost, but the plan fails. When Namsai reveals the truth about Asanai, Malee tries to kill him by choking him, but her brother, who is a monk, stops her and tells her to let go of her life because she cannot live forever as a ghost. After Malee’s ghost bids goodbye to Pran, he deliberately falls off the parapet of their balcony, killing himself. Even if Pran and Malee could not have a fruitful life because of Asanai, they have a happy ending because death brings them together once again.
