The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind (2019)
A brilliant teenager on a planet plagued with famine and destitution comes up with a way to rescue his entire community from starvation thanks to his ingenuity. Till then, though, things had become really rough. This inspiring tale will remind you of the importance of never giving up on your goals. It’s inspiring that despite all that’s been thrown at him, not only does this young guy persevere and succeed, but he also retains his optimism and sense of adventure. It’s unusual to find a film that really moves you. Everybody has a film they can watch again and again and still find new levels of encouragement and drive. This film really struck a chord with me. In particular, I was struck by the director’s depiction of the protagonist’s struggle to maintain optimism in the face of overwhelming odds and tragedy.
Eddie The Eagle (2016)
“You’re a total failure! This remark has belittled Eddie his whole life. However, he shrugs everything off and continues training to be a ski jumper at the upcoming Olympics. Despite setbacks, the protagonist of this movie learns to bounce back and continue the pursuit of his ambition. It’s an emotional rollercoaster that inspires you profoundly, with touching moments that go deep into your heart, balanced with hilarious one-liners and entertaining scenarios. “Eddie the Eagle,” starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman, will just not let you give up on your dreams and ambitions. The movie is inspired by the real story of Michael Edwards, who, against all odds, fulfilled his dream of being an Olympian.
The Blind Side (2009)
What could be more heartwarming than a stranger who ends up saving the day for the entire family? In this film, an affluent household intervenes to keep an orphaned youngster out of the slums. It turns out he was destined for greatness on the soccer field. This movie emphasizes that everyone, no matter how humble their beginnings are, has the potential to blossom into a hero and does it in a profoundly moving way. Plus, it’s great that the plot has been inspired by a true event. This film moved me on so many levels, and I truly loved it. Sandra Bullock changed the way I saw the world, teaching me to appreciate what I’ve got despite the fact that it may not be the greatest. There are folks in the world who have nothing and others who are even worse off.
Unbroken (2015)
The film is based on the life of the Olympic sprinter and World War II soldier Louis Zamperini. In addition to flashes of his career as an athlete prior to the conflict, the film focuses on the time he spent as a marine in the United States Air Force and his odyssey after escaping an aircraft accident. Angelina Jolie, the film’s director, does an excellent job at evoking feelings of dread, sorrow, helplessness, and faith thanks to her superb directing and meticulous regard for everything from writing to character design to world-building. The film’s superb score and visuals will fully immerse and engage you in the story. The artists’ commitments and skills are on full display in the film’s impressively realistic depiction of the conflict. The actors’ performances are so moving that it’s impossible not to feel shivers. The inspiring and heartwarming account of Louis Zamperini’s struggle is one that has inspired millions and will continue to do so for many years to come.
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
There’s no shred of doubt that “The Shawshank Redemption,” directed by Frank Darabont and starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, is one of the most motivational movies ever made. The movie’s message of perseverance in the midst of difficulties has turned it into a popular guide for those going through tough times themselves. The movie puts the audience in the shoes of Andy Dufresne, a brilliant banker who’s wrongfully acquitted on a homicide charge and is sentenced to life in prison. Dufresne is not only a bright, smart guy who has made his cell into a veritable paradise for himself; however, he is also eager to assist his fellow inmates, even those who have harmed him. Dufresne’s tale is a poignant reflection that nobody is hopeless or beyond salvation because of their ability to find atonement and optimism in the unlikeliest of settings.
